I have a kinda long goatee thing going right now. Last night I put one of my daughter's hair ties in it to amuse my wife and she gave me sexy eyes while I walked past her in slow motion like Hot Topic Charlie Brown made me take it out immediately.
I've got about a week of stubble going. Shaving it off tonight or tomorrow, might have to shape a douchebag beard for a picture before shaving it all off.

I shaved last night and I hate the way my face feels if I go more than 5 days without shaving, so no thanks.

There's a song on this called "So Cold" and another called "World So Cold" and they could conceivably face each other in the 5th round. Let's make this happen.

I've let it grow to about this length while gf has been out of town, in serious need of a trim

All these guys really needed was a blanket. They just wanted to be warm.

When did the first wave of nu-metal die off? How long does a music have to be absent from the cultural landscape before a new wave of bands is considered a "revival?"

I would say that Nu Metal began in 1994, ran at full might from 1997 - 2003, and the last rattle ended by 2007. Maybe?

Have any of the "revival" bands made any kind of splash beyond being merely acknowledged as part of this group of nu nu-metalers?

I have no reason to believe he'd know any more than anyone else on this topic.
