I have a kinda long goatee thing going right now. Last night I put one of my daughter's hair ties in it to amuse my wife and she gave me sexy eyes while I walked past her in slow motion like Hot Topic Charlie Brown made me take it out immediately.

I've got about a week of stubble going. Shaving it off tonight or tomorrow, might have to shape a douchebag beard for a picture before shaving it all off.

When did the first wave of nu-metal die off? How long does a music have to be absent from the cultural landscape before a new wave of bands is considered a "revival?"

I would say that Nu Metal began in 1994, ran at full might from 1997 - 2003, and the last rattle ended by 2007. Maybe?
