My big problem is still this: They should've just told Poe and everyone what the plan was to avoid all the in-fighting.

Simple question. Everyone knew the plan except Poe. In what set up real or imaginary do you tell the guy that disobeyed orders and got your entire bombing fleet and more, your next move? It doesn’t happen in any set up. Military or otherwise.
The point of all that and his arc is he starts off stupid and by the end learns the lesson and again at the end actually takes the lead with permission from the leader. Leia says follow him.
He’s one dimensional if he’s the invincible ace pilot who does no wrong. That’s boring. Same exact thing with Luke. They’re people. Not super heroes. You see any of that?

I dunno... seems like people should know the basic plan and that they're not gonna die so they don't panic...

Could it have been a safety check against a possible spy? The Resistance knows that the Empire is following them though hyperspace, and they don't know how. An unknown spy is a likelihood.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Yeah, maybe, but whatever it was, it should've been IN THE MOVIE and not up to our imaginations to justify

OK... Rose crashing into Finn's ship is the stupidest thing. No excuse for that one. She could've killed both of them instead of letting him sacrifice himself for everybody.

I guess... but how'd she become such a good pilot?Monkey_Driven wrote:She did it because she wants to bone him. We all do stupid shit for sexy time.tree_ wrote:OK... Anyway... I changed my vote from second worst option to second best. I enjoyed it much more this time. Not sure why. Maybe it was my wife's fault. She didn't like it at all.

I could feel her boredom in the theater and it made me just want it to end.

I have not watched this since my initial viewing, which I really loved. Might be time for a revisit sometime soon.
i watched Rogue One again a couple months ago and I still like it a lot, but it fell a couple notches for me
. The whole second act should be subtitled "wait, what?".

Aside from the lame humor, this video isn't a completely obnoxious waste of time... until we get to the 9 minute mark where it becomes so completely stupid and anti-woman for no good goddamn reason that I just stopped watching it.BurtReynolds wrote:

I liked how Rose saved the animals, but left the child slaves.
Spinny blade guy were pretty funny, though. I thought that fight scene was weird.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
I'm still convinced that random storm trooper guy was supposed to be Phasma but she couldn't make it to the set or something. No way JJ Abrams is that stupid right? There is just no way Finn was supposed to fight some random storm trooper when you have a character purpose built to fight him right there.

So Rian won an award for best screenplay for TLJ at the Saturn awards. And all the starflakes are losing their minds and attacking him. Will it ever end
