If so, I'm all in.

But the source material has me beyond skeptical. Fingers crossed.
Did you read it?
I sure did. When it first came out. So, it's been a while.
So you were not a fan?

Ive only read a synopsis of it now and it seems rather strange but I never judge a King novel until i read it.
King nails the adult Danny Torrence. His journey between The Shining and Doctor Sleep as King lays it out is terrific, and makes perfect sense. My two big problems are with the villains...

Super minor spoilers:
Spoiler: show
1. The female antagonist is described as basically Slash
from Guns n' Roses. She is described as having a top hat the "floats." This was so goofy and cartoony, and it
drove me bonkers even though it had no impact on the story.

2. The group that she leads is mostly very elderly, and there is entirely too much talk about gurgling bowels, old skin, and more in that vein. It just made me uncomfortable.
Basically everything with Danny was way better than i had hoped it would be, and everything with the villains was just weird.
It all seems more unnecessary than new star wars movies.

I'm lucky to see three movies a year but I would have done this for sure back in the day. Seems like a no brainer.

Man the new Predator looks really disappointing. I guess its time to give up on the idea that they'll ever make another good one.

I never cared a great deal for the original (it's fine but not great) and I think this new one looks completely stupid.

I love the first one and the second was so wacky that I couldn't help but dig it. Everything following has been shit.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

So it's Dinner for Schmucks 2. But this time it's directed by a guy who is on the nose and showy. Great.

Despite using super-violence as a selling point and Nick Cage, who looks absurdly awful, I'm somehow kind of interested in this.

I can't help but wonder that if a 15 ft Great White doesn't normally go after humans because we aren't their food source why would a 75 ft Megladon bother?

I love that whats his name is so bad ass he has a bored look on this face as he's inches from being eaten. :D
