I am now a fan of Static-X. Weird.

The StaticX song was pretty enjoyable and the video was funny. I actually do like the Smooth Criminal cover. I hear it once every few years and always get a kick out of it. It was my first time hearing I’m With Stupid, so my vote is for Smooth Criminal.

The AAF frontman is so hilariously, obnoxiously Y2K in that video. The bared teeth, the tongue swirling. Pure skater-punk-brat ridiculousness. It's almost charming?

I think I like "I'm with Stupid" even more than "Push It". What a killer track. Tons of unusual touches in there; the vocals seem to constantly move and change in unexpected ways, and stop in unexpected places. I love those little growls he uses to end lines.

I like the video too. The combination of the dance move, camera movement, and chugging music at 0:34 is pretty awesome. Kinda reminds me of the club scene near the beginning of Bad Boys II.

Voting Static-X without question

I almost want to give this round to Alien Ant Farm because "Smooth Criminal" is the better song, at least when performed by Michael Jackson. But I'm pretty sick of hearing AAF's version, to be honest.

Like the previous Static-X song, "I'm with Stupid" is wiry and oddball, and with its minimal lyrics, almost like a chant than an actual song. I can definitely see why LV is drawn to them in this tournament. There's a very distinct and unusual personality to them that's a cut above many of the other bands.

Smooth Criminal: Why do these guys 'dance' like that? It irritates me to no end. It's OK, because the song is structured well... but the musicians sound like amateurs at best.

I'm with Stupid: I like their sense of humor. The song makes me giggle. I kinda like it... but I don't think I would listen to it again.

I'm with Stupid gets my vote.

Initially voted for Smooth Criminal, but then remembered how much I hated it. It was one of those inescapable ear-grating tunes. I've never heard the other one, and probably won't listen to it, but I've voted for it nevertheless.
