Oh shit, just saw your Strava entry. As bad as it sounds?
Seems pretty bad right now. My whole right leg is numb. The only other time I've heard a pop like that was my achilles and that knocked me out 3 full months.

But I'm a fast healer and this is my "down season" anyway, so it's not a huge deal. Other than, ya know, I love running. :?

I do have a rim-to-rim trip planned with a buddy in late summer, but I can run that with a bad leg and blindfolded at this point.

Are we going to run from The Hancock Building to Wrigley in August?
I will not be running to the shows, but I love running by Lake Michigan. I will absolutely be running there.

My right leg is still basically numb.

I may actually *shock and horror* see a doctor tomorrow.

I'm worried I'm gonna screw this up. I have strava garmin connect and the watch all hooked up. I'm assuming I can just go for a run and I'm all good now. I just start a run on the watch and bam right?

I'm starting to think about pace. I wonder is it good to keep a steady pace throughout a run or should I mix it up?

If you have your Garmin connected to your phone via bluetooth, everything will happen automatically when you walk through the door after your run.

You should mix it up occasionally. Putting on some speed in the middle or end of a run teaches your body to adapt and produce even if it's tired and you'll also get some lactate and VO2 benefits.
