Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

He'll go to a concert when the Mynabirds are playing Brooklyn again and I'm crashing on his couch.

This is excellent advice.

so i saw sponge again last night and once again enjoyed myself immensely

So I stuck around last night to get a poster and it signed.

Managed to talk to vinnie for about 5 minutes and thanked him for rotting piñata and how great I thought it was. Embarrassing moment was when I apologized for a premature ba-ba-ba during their cover of sedated by the ramones. He had pointed at me and was like, not yet that’s in the next verse and kinda chuckled.

He laughed and said he thought it was funny but funnnier when he saw my storm pooper shirt. He asked if I was a Star Wars fan and said how he took his son to the exhibit in Detroit and if I was a fan I should go check it out.

Showed him the selfie we took in Rochester when they played their and he asked how I lost so much weight. Hence the signature no fast food.

Sometimes you meet folks and they can be a letdown. I think it’s safe to say he and the other members get it. While it’s not a packed arena they still played their stuff and didn’t go through the motions.

In Boston, at the Wang Center. I've somehow never seen him play. He is playing solo.

It's been long sold out, but I've been checking and re-checking Ticketmaster, and a few tickets trickled out today. It's at a fancy historic big theater, and I got a seat in some kind of box.

Lol

I find it funny that when PJ does/did this stuff, everyone’s up in arms. But someone like St Vincent or The National does it and everyone’s like, “word.”

Because Pearl Jam fans are like Star Wars fans without the infamy of sending the respective casts into exile.

Because Pearl Jam spent a decade branding themselves as anti-corporate.

Has anyone been to a concert that is digital-ticket-only thru Ticketmaster? The instructions say to just bring the credit card and a photo ID. Does that mean they print something out at the venue with your seat location, so you have something to show the ushers? If so, does it cause a bottleneck and long line with people trying to get in?

Sounds similar to the last time I saw radiohead, and you entered by using the credit card you used to purchase the tickets. No slower than usual, if I remember correctly

I dunno. Never thought about that. Probably bc I don’t know anyone for who I’d be willing to spend $300 on Ticketmaster

The ticket buyer and all of the people in his/her group have to enter at the same time.

On my lunch break, I saw a schlubby guy walking around downtown Boston with a Pearl Jam T-shirt on.

I'm going to go ahead and assume he's in town for the Neil concert.
