The name Mudvayne sounds familiar but I don't remember that song.

Jesus, the Mudvayne vocalist sounds as though your really nervous accountant uncle decided to do vocals for his cover band because nobody else in the group wanted to do it.
I couldn't listen long enough to form an opinion other than pity, so I guess my vote goes to Pardon Me.

The only way this tourney is a failure is if an Incubus song wins

I only like Mudvayne's rhythm section. The vocals are actually pretty garbage, honestly. Incubus are far better musicians overall. Vote goes to 'Pardon Me'.

This is a toss up for me. I like both songs. I think Mudvayne is a cut above most of these others hands in terms of technical skill.
I guess I’ll go with Pardon Me

No joke. Wow, this singer really sounds so out of place with this band. Just terrible.ABNorman wrote:Jesus, the Mudvayne vocalist sounds as though your really nervous accountant uncle decided to do vocals for his cover band because nobody else in the group wanted to do it.

I thought I remembered Mudvayne being one of those wacky face painted, spiky haired nu metal bands.

"Pardon Me" was the first Incubus song I heard. Was it their debut single? I remember being like "wtf is this"

First breakthrough single, maybe. 'Drive' and 'Stellar' were also singles from Make Yourself.

I just remembered Incubus' single 'Love Hurts'. But sometimes it's a good hurt.

Mudvayne, their bassist and drummer might be the most technically skilled musicians not in System of a Down or Sepultura in the entire tournament.
I like Incubus but Pardon Me is painfully played out at this point in my life.

Voting for Incubus because the nu-metal tournament is not the place for your high-minded principles

Re: R1: Pardon Me vs. World So Cold
Pardon Me: Yeah, I genuinely like Incubus.. because of the singer. The music doesn't do much for me.
World So Cold: Never heard this before. Sounds pretty generic/2nd rate all around.
Easy vote for Pardon Me.

We can debate whether Incubus as a whole is nu-metal or not but that song is definitely nu-metal

Welcome to this poll-within-a-poll. What's the better song about being 23 years old? "Pardon Me" vs. "What's My Age Again"
