Not a lot of good for the president in polling right now. 49 to 47%, Americans believe the president is flat-out racist, and

Totally baffled at the willingness of so many Republicans to meet with Russia IN Russia during the Fourth, and to let Moscow humiliate them on television in the process.

So, Trump wants to take citizenship away from people who cheated to get it. How, exactly does one cheat their way into citizenship?

Stripping citizenship from already naturalized citizens because of "irregularities" is a dramatic step (and slippery slope) for any government to take.

Well, to be fair, immigrants commit an insufficient number of crimes and tend to appreciate what few opportunities are allotted them. What’s more unAmerican than that?

The firms that profit from the immigration enforcement agency not only have political support from the White House; many of their former lobbyists and consultants now occupy the upper echelons of the Trump administration.

Honestly, this is bigger story than it's being played.
It's downright deplorable and goes against every good thing about America.
People should be really upset.

We need a special system for this? That's a federal crime, right?Bi_3 wrote:Identity theft, lying on the application, etc.B wrote:So, Trump wants to take citizenship away from people who cheated to get it. How, exactly does one cheat their way into citizenship?

And hopefully this fact was not lost on anyone:McParadigm wrote:This is what I was trying to sayMcParadigm wrote:Totally baffled at the willingness of so many Republicans to meet with Russia IN Russia during the Fourth, and to let Moscow humiliate them on television in the process.
"In December, two Republicans canceled a planned trip to Russia after Moscow denied a visa to Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (N.H.), an outspoken critic of Russia. This time, only Republicans were in attendance, including Sen. John Thune (S.D.), the third-ranking Republican in the Senate." -WaPo
It is curious to me (but maybe someone else could explain sense out of it) that none of the senators are on the foreign relations committee, but rather the group was mostly reps. sitting on appropriations. Is this because the conversation was about sanctions? Are we planning on a spending bill that will pay the russian government?
