I'd choose seeing Ben Harper over Pearl Jam any night of the week.
I love Ben Harper, but the Relentless 7 did very little for me.

That said, I saw them open for Pearl Jam in San Diego and the Vedder duet with Ben on "Under Pressure" was easily the highlight of the night. Maybe of the year.

I was pretty disappointed that i saw them open for pj in both Dublin and belfast and they didn't do under pressure at either show

I enjoyed Liam Finn a lot more than Ben Harper when they both opened in 2009. Having said that, I do think Ben was worth seeing one time.

I've seen BH maybe 10 times at various festival and shows. He's never been a must see but once when I was absolutely blazing high he was phenomenal.

His enthusiasm when he came out and performed Education with the band was infectious.
