I was kidding. I’d own that title if such an award was open.

No she’s not. It’s brilliant to get to meet a rebel who just does the nuts n bolts and ‘works behind the pipes’. Her role is as important as porkins or Biggs or anyone. Why shouldn’t that part of the rebellion get shown? They can’t all be ace pilots and heroes. That’s boring.

She’s excited to meet Finn.
She’s mourning her sisters death.
She goes on a mission.
She’s capable and has more humanity and empathy than we’ve probably ever seen in a Star Wars character.
She saves her pal/crush.


How is any of that making her the worst anything?

Prequels are loaded with shittier characters than Rose. Jar Jar, little Anakin, older Anakin, older older Anakin, Sebulba, Watto, battle droids, those Asian guys that blockaded Naboo, this guy:

and rose is fine. she isnt one for the ages and is one of the weaker new trilogy characters, but the new trilogy is stuffed to the gills with great characters and performances.
