Re: R1: Right Now vs. Faith
I have mentioned a couple times that I have discovered one Bizkit Boys song I genuinely like via this tournament. One I think is genuinely good.
This is it right here.
This song really hits a punk brat sweet spot for me. Durst's goofy, strained, ridiculous vocals are so perfectly wrong and knowingly stupid and wonderfully fun. He is clearly having an absolute blast covering this song, and the chorus and breakdown FUCKING SLAM SO HARD! I have listened to this song so many times recently and my wife hates me for it. I always play it at least twice when I do listen to it; so short, so sweet. And I LOVE how instead of ending it just sort of falls apart in a fit of feedback and shouted barks. Absolutely goddamn perfect. I adore it.
"Right Now" is a good song too but I'm definitely voting for "Faith".

Re: R1: Right Now vs. Faith
i actually like a few songs off that album when it came out, before they got big and became the most annoying band on earth at the time. Faith was one of those songs. Gonna vote for that. I don't even remember this Korn tune.Jammer XCI wrote:Listen to "Counterfeit" and "Stuck" then.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I have mentioned a couple times that I have discovered one Bizkit Boys song I genuinely like via this tournament. "Faith" shifts shape a few times in its near-three minutes, which is kind of cool. I agree that Fred-o sounds like he's having some fun here, and in this genre, I'll take that where I can get it.
Korn is...Korn. I just can't get beyond how utterly unmusical I find their whole sound. Bizkit Boys, I check your ballot box once again.

Voting Bizkit here.
This song is presumably after Korn became really boring.

KoRn may have been the first to knock on the door of future nu-metal fans but “Faith” kicked it in.

Re: R1: Right Now vs. Faith
When I first heard "Faith", I didn't know it was a cover. I just thought it was a cool song. I was disappointed that Limp Bizkit didn't seem to have any others like it.
