I've already taken this too far off topic again. I really didn't want that. I'll go back to just voting. Sorry, LV. I'm really enjoying your tournament. I don't want to mess it up.

Meanwhile, had I posted that same story, he would have insulted me and wished for something upsetting and/or awful to happen to me.

Re: R1: Cowboy vs. One Step Closer
I think I start to get a mild headache every time I listen to a Linkin Park song, or at least any of the stuff from their first couple albums (there are some more recent tracks I've heard where they toned down their early style and they're a lot less insufferable). It feels like some sort of Pavlovian response stemming from the last couple years of high school and the first couple of college when everybody was into this shit, and I couldn't escape it because one of my younger brothers was a huge Linkin Park fan.
"Cowboy" is trashy, but it's pretty funny, what with all the weird little Western samples in the early part of the song and the little ragtime break when Joe C and Gary Coleman brawl. It's also pretty notable for helping kickstart another genre of music that might be worse than nu metal: bro country.
"Cowboy," because it ain't Linkin Park.

sorry you had to go through that, Kevin.
Cowboy.
Linkin Park has really aged badly.

Love "Cowboy".
Palm trees and weed, scabbed knees and rice (what?)
Get a map to the stars, find Heidi Flice (who?)
And if the price is right then I'm gonna make my bid, boy
And let Californi-A know why they call me (great line)
Cowboy, baby
