I probably like FJM a little more, to be honest
You’ve taken the first step, plat. Proud of you.

Tbh there's something I really like about the chords sequence in the chorus of All Star.

EV already sounded legendary

You really think these guys are gonna write original rock music as good as Ten or Vs in a few short years?

What’s Plant supposed to say? He gave a compliment accompanied with a slight eye roll.
hype is a good thing. Rock is essentially a dead genre in terms of mainstream music, Pearl Jam hasn't been relevant in 20 years. Foo Fighters last few albums have been terrible. Now I'm not saying good rock bands need to be mainstream, but more exposure helps the rock community as a whole, because the community gets more music, more tours, bands inspire other bands to start up and record an album etc.

People are allowed to hate on GVF, just like people hated on Wolfmother back in the day, but doesn't mean they won't be successful.

And no they won't write original rock music as good as Ten or Vs most likely, they are a very different band. Any music with PJs greatest dummer Dave A on drums will always sound superior to anything else ;)

At first with this band I was like "hell no led zeppelin ripoff" then I kept hearing that one song on the radio and said "what the hell I'll give it a listen" then I set aside my preconceived notions about what music should be and found that it was a pretty good listen. I also thought, "well, if I went to audition for a band and it was these guys I'd be like, hell yeah I'll join your band." Whatevs.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

Sounds like a fun band to be in but not a fun band to listen too. Problem isn't so much being derivative its they don't have any songs. At least Wolfmother had a couple songs.
