Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
In the beginning, after the bad mom/cell phone jokes, when Poe is avoiding cannon fire, they say they can't hit Poe because his ship is too small. Why would this be? Aren't those cannons made to shoot fighters of this size? Has technology regressed since the death star? Those cannons were more than capable of decimating fighters. Why didn't they just explain it with, "Wow, he really is a great pilot!" ... that would've been good

They are large cannons that require moving/aiming and he is very close to them. This is basic aerial warfare.tree_ wrote:In the beginning, after the bad mom/cell phone jokes, when Poe is avoiding cannon fire, they say they can't hit Poe because his ship is too small. How did BB8 repair Poe's X-Wing by banging his head against it?

I'm throwing things out there that bother me. If you have a response that can help, I'd appreciate it. There's no need to attack my character.dimejinky99 wrote:Simplify. Spoon feed. Want what I want. Demand it now.

That's easy. That's not on par with 'these cannons are too big to hit an x-wing' when that's precisely what they were made for.dimejinky99 wrote:How does Yoda hit luke on the head

Every single one of your (frankly stupid) questions and problems have been answered here and in the film. You just admitted you didn’t pay attention when watching it.
I don’t get this need to be a troll with a hard on.
Have you nothing else to do?
Also I didn’t attack your character at all.
You’re doing this MAGA gimp bullshit. Why bother. Go get a blow job man. You need one.

I don't know who dime's referring to, but it's not me. I watched this film closely the last time. The first two times I didn't. Also, MAGA... ?
I don't have anything better to do. I'm dissecting the movie, looking for answers to my questions. Moving on...
They should've used Y-Wings, don't you think? Y-Wings are perfectly capable of destroying Star Destroyers. Also, Dreadnaughts don't even have shields... which is weird.

Im sorry you didnt like the movie, tree__. Im sure that was disappointing for you as a star wars fan. I hope by the end of episode 9 you will come around and enjoy it as much as I have. If not, thats okay too and I hope you find some enjoyment from all the other star wars goodies we will be receiving over the years to come.

It is very disappointing that a movie this big that had this level of expectations for it is so objectively bad... that it was treated this lazily, with such disregard for its magnitude/importance.

You can’t pass a bomb or ship for that matter, through a shield. Again if you watched Star Wars you’d see this. The Y wing was already antiquated tech in return of the Jedi. They needed constant repair and attention.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
Well, Y-Wings seem much smarter than the new bombers, don't you think? ... They seem to be designed to have to drop the bombs from close proximity above their target, getting blown up in the process.. kamikaze style.. also they move like snails and don't have shields themselves.. they can turn the shield off before dropping the bombsdimejinky99 wrote:tree_ wrote:I don't know who dime's referring to, but it's not me. So the imperial navy will turn off their shields to allow the resistance to drop bombs.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
Wow, the 'r' word. I'm not trolling. You didn't answer my question. The Y-Wings make more sense. They could even actually destroy shields, if the dreadnaughts even had any. The new resistance bombers are sitting ducks and apparently don't even have shields. I was saying that they could have shields, then turn them off when they had to drop their bombs, cause you said shields prevent the dropping of bombs/releasing of tie-fighters from enemy craft... as if they couldn't turn them off/on...dimejinky99 wrote:tree_ wrote:Well, Y-Wings seem much smarter than the new bombers, don't you think? ...
