Every song on here should qualify. Please and thank you.

Hey I have that comp too. I used to love the Fat series. Found some of my all-time favorites there.

It's a compilation put out by a label called Fat Wreck Chords owned by a guy named Fat Mike

Fat Mike recently career suicided because he made fun of the people who got shot in Las Vegas last year. NoFX got kicked off their own festival here in Ohio, and the venues of their tour all banned them.

NOFX sucks anyway.

Didn't Rancid have a shitty hit or two in this period?

On what planet is rancid pop punk?? They're punk punk

If green day is in this (as they should be), she needs to be in it because it's their best song

I'll list a bunch, but honestly you should go with half of the Tony hawk video game soundtrack tunes

Millencolin - no cigar
Bodyjar - not the same
Avail - simple song (pop part debatable)
Bouncing souls - manthem, gold song, ole
Flogging molly - drunken lullabies (pop debatable)
Me first and the gimme gimmes - rocket man, leaving on a jet plane
Less than Jake - history of a boring town, Johnny quest thinks we're sellouts
Yellowcard - ocean Avenue
Mest - drawing board
AFI - girls not gray
Mxpx - party my house be there

Throw in a bunch of reel big fish too

Don't get too hung up on the terminology. If it was punk-adjacent and popular during this period, it fits the criteria.

Of course "Ocean Avenue" is going in this. So is Mest, but not that song. I'm thinking of "What's the Dealio".

LV how many songs did you do for nu metal? Over 100 right?

Extreme sports video games sure packed the nu metal and pop punk together.

Between the Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra and Mat HoffmAn games there was tons to go around.

What was the band that had that song "I'm a dick...I'm addicted to you"? That's gotta fit.

We need to start thinking about Avril Lavigne here.
