This is gonna be so much fun.

All-American Rejects—Move Along
All-American Rejects—Swing, Swing
All-American Rejects—Dirty Little Secret
Finch—What it is to Burn
Finch—Letters to You
Hawthorne Heights—Ohio
New Found Glory—Hit or Miss
New Found Glory—All Downhill From Here
Plain White T’s—Hey There Delilah
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus—Face Down
Relient K—Be My Escape
Saves the Day—At Your Funeral
Story of the Year—Until the Day I Die
The Used—The Taste of Ink

Idk if they're pop punk, but they seem to fit the general mood of a lot of stuff that's made it so far, but I feel like there's gotta be a Me First and the Gimme Gimmes song in here.
"I want to see the whole picture--as nearly as I can. I don't want to put on the blinders of 'good and bad,' and limit my vision."-- In Dubious Battle

Guys, I know we don't think of them as any kind of "punk" band, but geez; musically, it's kind of hard to argue that this particular song doesn't share a LOT of elements with these 90s pop-punk songs

How do we feel about including...
Spoiler: show
Open to arguments for vs. against

But is that just because you associate the band with that genre as opposed to pop-punk?

It's got the palm-muted chugga-chugga verses, it's got the high BPM, it's got the catchy melodies, it's got the big poppy major-chord chorus, it's got the angsty lyrics, it even has a very Blink 182-ish descending arpeggiated guitar hook

I feel like if it was someone else singing, most people wouldn't hesitate to call that a pop-punk song

Looks like STD should be in this afterall. Now there are three people who have nominated this song.

I think "Monkey Wrench" fits the bill -- musically anyway, perhaps not aesthetically.

"Up in Arms" really fits the bill, but that wasn't a single.

Foo Fighters will just be the Incubus of this tournament. Leave them out.

Nu Metal Tournament must finish before this one begins

and we need a 2-week grace period in between

we can't let this board be dominated by two crap-genre tournaments at the same time

that plus tree_'s live blogging of his entire life will just be too much for the RMainframe to handle

and there will be no time left to post homosexual innuendos

The question isn't about the Foo Fighters but about "Monkey Wrench", which fits pretty neatly. Also this is their only song I would include

and now I got the HOFer to agree
