Yeah I wanna know what went down in the break. Or why the break...went down. Doesn't sound like they were talking about the album all that much .

Aside from 'it sounds like pearl jam' and BoB saying 'you tell me what it sounds like' we haven't really heard anything so it doesn't mean they wrote off 'experimenting' so I'm not too worried yet. None of the three songs we've heard are anything out of the ordinary though.

I'm indulging in baseless speculation just to have something to talk about btw.

Is there any other reason to speculate?

Maybe "Where's my sponge?" is about sea sponges.

sorry if this has already been asked/discussed in the 200+ page thread. Backspacer was released at the end of September 2009, when did we get the real tracklist before it was released? Like 2 or 3 months before release day, right? Can't remember. We're coming up on the two month mark and still no tracklist. My money's on the latest list being another fake.

Jeff uses their t shirt as well.

About the tracklist, the lack of official words on the subject is weird.

So the new Pearl Jam album is named after a clothing line?

Doesn't seem any more real or fake than any of the previous attempts.
Pretty sure "By" and "The" wouldn't be capitalized in an official press release. I may be wrong.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

Wasn't it leaked on an Italian site? So was the title of the album, incidentally. I'm not sure why Italy gets to hear about everything first. Also, at this point, I find it weird that you find a lack of official word on anything PJ-related weird.

Its a surfboard company, but i don't think that's exactly what they were naming it after

I forgot about that. What is going on there? Either Eddie knows the people who own the company, or they were coming up with names and ed threw his cap on the table and said there you go.

Or its completely unrelated and they're just stupid.

A team-up like that would be cooler than the Target one...
