The Snowman.
Widely considered to be one of last year's worst movies I watched just to see how bad it was. It's bad. The plotline is a jumbled, poorly edited mess. Val Kilmer appears in a role that at one time probably meant something but doesn't. His lines were dubbed by another actor since he was recovering from throat cancer. More than once his scene is shot from behind when he speaks. The actual snowmen are mostly ridiculous too. Flashbacks range from unclear to "convienent".
Just a mess all around, there is a couple unintentional laughs but not a so bad it's good movie.

I got a 2 disc set of Inception. The other disc is packed with extras on dreams and conciousness.

Hopefully these will help me wrap my head around this damn film. (Which I really like)

The ending was meant to leave you questioning that. I don't think anyone knows, really.

It's meant to be ambiguous. However, Dicaprio and Nolan have both stated that the point is that it doesn't matter. Leo's character sees his kids faces at last and goes to them, and doesn't stop to see if the top keeps spinning or not because he finally has what he wants.

I suppose it depends on if you're an optimist or cynical at heart :)

What I don’t know is how anyone thinks Inception is confusing or complicated

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I found it visually stunning and quite intriguing, but was slightly underwhelmed by the final third. I need to chew on it more.

That was my other question. Who are they getting into other people’s dreams to influence them? How are they meeting up to coordinate the mission /plant the idea?

I watched the doco on dreaming and subconscious on the extras before hand.
On shared dreaming. You’d have to have some sort of commonality with the person. It doesn’t just happen you can break into someone’s dream. What did I miss
