There should be *the poster* for any given show, not 4 or 5 various ones.

it's a double-edged sword for me. it's annoying, but at the same time, i understand the idea of having very different artistic style artists for the same show. not everyone likes Emek's style, or Ames Bros style, or Brad Klausen's style. So it offers options for people who want to spend $40 on a piece of paper. But, from the viewpoint of a collector, or if there are multiple posters that you like...then it's annoying.
