i listened to an audio stream of the show and i don't think you'll be let down. miss you is the only real negative here, and i'd have loved for a longer, jammed out waves. c+p and soam are the real highlights.

I saw last night on the .net forums that Fluffhead (255 times played) and SOAM (316 times played) have never been played back-to-back.

haha, i saw that, too. they can get real deep and dirty with their stats. makes us look like amateur hour when we're nerding out in the tour forum.

tonight's show (alpharetta n1) was great. i'll be downloading this one for sure. they come blasting out of the gate with first tube, and the opening run of ft-nminml-ghost just set the tone for what would be their strongest night i've heard so far. the whole second set is a must listen.

I can't believe they had to cancel the festival. I wonder if they will do triple sets at Dick's to make up for it (assuming most of the crazies who go to the fest also do Dick's).

However, this does mean that potentially the limited edition vinyl copies of Slip Stitch and Pass may be available online. Watching that like a hawk.

There was flooding in the area and it contaminated the water supply. So, basically, no fresh water for the entire weekend, state of emergency declared. People had already begun to arrive but they had to clear out by Friday at noon. It's a ghost town: http://phish.net/blog/1534621706/curveball-photos.html

Some friends of mine went too and now they're having the time of their lives trekking back home and letting instagram polls decide where they're visiting/eating/drinking next.

I came close to ordering tickets yesterday when they announced Rhode Island shows for the fall. Still considering, not sure if I'd be able to find concert buddies, and for a one-off it is pretty expensive. But I've never been this close to actually going to a Phish show.

Here's a very Phish sentence: Camping and vending at the Colorado shows this summer have been banned because prairie dogs may give people the plague.

no bullshit, i think this might be their most accomplished studio album. it absolutely feels like a current era live show captured in a studio setting, with all the perks a studio allows for. this is just top notch phish.

Yeah, it's surprisingly good & energetic. Easily their best studio effort since Round Room.

Yeah, I listened to the livestream last night and had the same reaction. All of these studio cuts sounded like unique, essential versions of these tunes, not just slapped-together outlines of the live versions. Steam and Thread were standouts, but there didn't seem like there were any wasted tracks.
