It took me 3 1/2 hours to get through the line. Now I hate Pearl Jam. :(

I hate this side of it so much. How many of those people aren't even going to the show? If you bought a ten Club ticket they should give you the exclusive to buy the merch online

It'd be cool if they opened early, outside for Ten Club and/or ticket holders only. Show us your ticket, or tell us your name if you're in the Ten Club, and we'll let you in.

The group of people around me oitside was all going, but some people in front of me in the tent we're pretty apparently not. The couple right in front of me each bought 2 of each poster and then 2 of the show-specific stuff.

At least they were efficient at it. Another person spent a full 15 minutes deciding what she wanted after she got to the front of the line.

We may have been in the same line inside the tent. There was a girl who bought the limit of every single thing, and near the end someone went to show her their phone and how long it was taking, and then everyone cheered and wanted to know what the total was.

There is also a person who pays homeless people to stand in line and buy the limits on things, I did see him there checking on his people- I saw at least 3 homeless people near me that I assume were working for him although I did not see him actually talk to them...

I don't want to do that again, probably ever. I honestly don't even feel like going to the shows now. Hopefully that wears off in a couple of days.

Having to show a ticket to buy stuff there is a nice idea, however, it wouldn't have allowed me to buy anything because I am the ticket buddy of the 10C ticket holders and they will not have anything to give me until the day of the show.

On the rare occasion that the Mariners sell out, it takes a really long time. Tom Petty last year took FOREVER. Both those included paper tix.

This is definitely gonna take a while.

For those who know these types of things: If showtime is advertised as 7pm, what will stage time likely be? I’m thinking like 7:45 - am I crazy??
Yes, you are crazy. I would say 8:15 at the earliest. Probably 8:30ish.
By comparison- stage time for a showtime of 8:30 what do tou think? Missoula is advertised as 8:30.

500 people right before the tent opened. Crazy.
I waited at least 3 hours for the pop up shop at the Showbox in 2013. It was not worth it.

Little help though, I’m curious.

Can’t make out the design on the back of the silver keychain. What is that?

What does it say all over the back of the black “Revolt” shirt?
It's St. Christopher holding a mic stand instead of a staff.

I was wondering about that too.
Back of Revolt shirt is dates and locations of all past Seattle shows. Pretty cool.
Yeah that is pretty cool.

Was that the one that was really just posters but they gave some other things to us just for showing up?

Shit is already on eBay. Apparently one flipper bought the max of everything, his bill was $3,092. I fucking hate people

No they had a bunch of kinda old leftover stuff. They had mystery boxes. They had some Benaroya vinyl which appeared to be the biggest draw.

Ames Bros. had a little setup in the corner and I picked up two shirts, non-PJ related. I didn’t see any PJ gear worth buying. They did a raffle, too.

Devil’s advocate: How else would a guy from, say, the Carolinas get his hands on Seattle merch like this otherwise?

I've always been under the idea that if you don't go to a show, why would you buy the merch? I don't want a shirt of a concert I haven't been to

I agree. Of the relatively few live albums I have, almost all are from shows I attended.

But as you know PJ fans are a cult and must have ALL THE MERCH

That's why you let in ticket holders OR Ten Club members!

Allowing 10C ticket holders to pre-order merch is the best fan-proposed system that hasn't been implemented yet. I have to assume it's because they think it'll cut into the bottom line.

I am on board with this approach. It would cut down on the homeless people buying stuff and limit some of the flippers. The worst flippers I know are in the 10C.
