That's why you let in ticket holders OR Ten Club members!
I am on board with this approach. It would cut down on the homeless people buying stuff and limit some of the flippers. The worst flippers I know are in the 10C.
I shouldn't say this to someone who's hooking me up, but my thoughts are that it costs a lot to be in the 10C and go to shows. I wouldn't judge someone for picking up a couple extra things, and putting them on e-bay. As long as they are asking a fair price and not buying out the merch tent, it gives those of us in Pearl Jam drought territory a chance to pick up cool stuff.
Not everyone is lucky enough to have awesome friends like me.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Being serious, bc honestly I have no idea. But is merch this big of a deal with other bands? Or is this special to Pearl Jam? I just don’t ever recall seeing insane merch lines at other big band shows I’ve been to. Lines, of course, but not hours long lines.

No way I'm waiting 5 hours in line in Missoula for a poster, and your cards. 2 is about my max

Hey, my friend, im only asking a favor of people who are already at the stand for their own stuff. But Missoula won't be like this.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Locals may be working, but the out of towners are already arriving (we get A LOT for Seattle shows) and will be there all week. There were several people there yesterday that came straight from the airport and were in line with their suitcases in hand and their boarding passes in their shirt pockets. Plus the flippers will go each day and there are lots of homeless people to recruit right there.
