So whats the actual reason for Eddie's bizarre pronuncation?

I mean he never USED to do this. You know what I mean....stuff like "sawmhow" and the like. "I open awwwwp"

When did he start this? WHY? Why did he forget how words sound? I don't have a million examples off the top of my head but anybody who listens to modern boots will notice instantly.

Overcompensating or struggling to hit the notes because his vocals are deteriorating due to smoking and age. I'd say it became really noticeable from 2009. The Conan performance of Got Some was a real eye opener, in a bad way.

I just don't get why saying "got awwwwp out of here" is easier to sing than "up". I get changing vocals due to age, but I don't understand how that turns u's into aw's

it's easier to make that sound and doesn't require as much exhalation
