from what i read, it wasn't quite as bad. most of the flippers probably hit it yesterday to get stuff on ebay asap. i've also read the later in the day you go, the better it is, though you risk items being sold out for the day

On the rare occasion that the Mariners sell out, it takes a really long time. Tom Petty last year took FOREVER. Both those included paper tix.

This is definitely gonna take a while.

For those who know these types of things: If showtime is advertised as 7pm, what will stage time likely be? I’m thinking like 7:45 - am I crazy??
Yes, you are crazy. I would say 8:15 at the earliest. Probably 8:30ish.
By comparison- stage time for a showtime of 8:30 what do tou think? Missoula is advertised as 8:30.
Tough one. I'm assuming there is no curfew at a collegiate venue, in a college town with school not yet in session. If the ticket says 8:30, then 9:00 or 9:30.

500 people right before the tent opened. Crazy.
I waited at least 3 hours for the pop up shop at the Showbox in 2013. It was not worth it.
Was that the one that was really just posters but they gave some other things to us just for showing up?
No they had a bunch of kinda old leftover stuff. They had mystery boxes. They had some Benaroya vinyl which appeared to be the biggest draw.

Ames Bros. had a little setup in the corner and I picked up two shirts, non-PJ related. I didn’t see any PJ gear worth buying. They did a raffle, too.
Ames also had their own pop up shop in 2013. It was on a different day than the 10c pop up shop. No surprise, the Ames pop up was run much better.

Other major acts are doing this. The 10c does not respect it's fans.

Someone on the pit said that an usher friend told them tomorrow night was 8-11.

I guess if you did this you'd have to deal with the neckbeards complaining that the poster they ordered 7 months ago when they bought their tickets is ugly. And it would be tougher for shows that have fiveposters--do you have to blindly shell out $175 before they're revealed, or do they do those pre-orders a week before the show when it's revealed to everyone?

Pearl Jam fans would do it and when the shitty posters arrived 2 years later they'd all say "thank you ten club for all you do!"

They did blind poster preorders in 2009. Supposedly, the volume of complaints are why it never happened again. I liked it for the record.

I don't remember that at all, but I don't think I went to any shows in 2009.
