I've said before, I want to see something like Force Ghost Luke bringing in Force Ghost Anakin to talk to Kylo as a last resort to turning him from total destruction and the Dark Side.
It would be great to see Luke "haunt" Kylo through the movie but see him fail to turn Kylo on his own. So Luke goes to Anakin and convinces him to try one last time because he might be the only one Kylo will listen to.
Just one scene with Anakin as a Force Ghost. That's it.

I think I'd personally like to see Kylo go full-on super evil bad guy and be defeated.
But I'm not opposed to a kind of redemption arc for him. It'll depend on how it's told. I want to see more of his struggle to refuse the light. I think that's far more interesting.
Something where the Light is calling to him and pulling him but rather than go that way, he chooses to keep resisting and keep digging into the Dark even though that's not his destiny, or perhaps the desire of the Force. That would be fucking cool as shit, to me.

Family and redemption are two of the main themes throughout all Star Wars.
Han redeems himself coming back to save the day in a new hope
Obi wan redeems himself training luke to make amends for his failure with Vader
As does Yoda.
Lando redeems himself and helps save han from Jabba.
Anakin redeems himself for realising he loves his son and kills the emperor.
Luke redeems himself by saving the resistance against the first order.
Gonna bet Leia redeems kylo in 9. She already has in part by him not firing on her in TLJ

Vader didnt kill Obi wan though. He robbed him of that by saving luke and Leia and han and becoming one with the force. He distracted Vader and sacrificed himself so they could survive.

Why?
I just think it’s wrong to have Christensen as the Force Ghost for one thing. I think it was a terrible idea at the time and I still do. It worked better as the broken old man/machine being “normal” in the Force than it did to de-age him 30 years. If he gets younger again, then Obi-Wan should have, as well. And don’t give me the bullshit cop out that he went back to when he was good. He was good at the very end of his life so that’s the last time he was good.
Having said that, I, in no way, shape or form want to see him reprise his role as Anakin as a Force Ghost.
