I wish we could do a scientific perception study together.

I'm enjoying the show. But it feels off to me somehow. I can't quite place it. But something is missing. Still, I'm excited for each new episode. And I can't wait to get home tonight and watch ep 5.

That and the birthday party scene - both of these scenes were fantastic!

There has been at least one good creepy thing in every episode so far. Digging that.

Some more creepy, creepy, shit. Incredibly ending to that episode. And it's feeling more and more like there's gonna be some mid-world, no?

So... is it possible that
Spoiler: show
The Kid is somehow Henry's father? His adoptive father, obviously, the priest? The Kid's first words are "Henry Deaver," he says the same thing ("do you hear it now") to Henry that his father said to him, there's talk about The Kid becoming more and more himself in home among familiar things, he plays the piano and puts on the Father's suit, and in the end of ep 6, he walks in the house, hangs up his suit coat and takes off his shoes like he owns the place...

Well, with the explanation that was given about there being alternate worlds out there and Castle Rock being some sort of nexus for them, it’s not outside the realm of possibility. Of course, we don’t know exactly what happened to his mom at the end and what kind of powers the Kid has. An interesting quote from him to Pangborn at the end of episode 5 keeps coming to my mind: “You have no idea what’s happening, do you?”

Except didn't Alan say that he looked exactly the same as when he saw him in the trunk of Dale's car?

That's correct. He hasn't aged at all as far as we know.

I’m actually kinda hoping it’s a young Pennywise.

Ehhhh..... I don't know. I feel like it COULD be cool but it would have to be so precise. It has like a 97% chance of being completely stupid. Plus, IF they did that but they didn't make Mrs. Deaver Carrie, then it would feel completely off and inconsistent. Feels like a dangerous move to me.

I'm just glad that the second series is going to be a whole new story and that they're not going to drag this story out....

Is this 100% confirmed? It's been my hope since they announced this as an "anthology show" but I haven't seen any concrete confirmation.
