The only new song they have to offer, one that was custom built for this moment in time, AND one they pushed to radio. Wow.

It says a lot about either their opinion of the effort, or their perception of how fans received it.

I just figured it was because Eddie has a hard time pulling it off without ruining his voice for the rest of the show.

Normally, I'd totally agree. But this is Ed we're talking about. It speaks to nothing more than how buzzed he was when he designed the setlist.

I’m not a fan, but the live version is pretty sweet. I think if he re-recorded the second verse so the lying seeds part wasn’t so hideous and the you are now poisoning was something else, I’d really dig it.

the #1 problem with the song though is the schoolyard taunt bridge(?). if the song went somewhere cool at that moment it would brighten things up a lot.
