That was a dream show. It was so much better than night one it’s criminal. Have fun, Missoula!

Looks great on paper. Infinitely better than night 1.

I don’t see that but I do see Let Me Sleep, which would be two nights in a row, so that explains what Ed scratched mid set.spike wrote:Given To Fly on the setlist but not played.

Amazing fucking show. I’ve been to nearly 30 and that was definitely one for the books. They were just on fire all night, Ed sounded legendary, and the spirit of Chris Cornell was definitely a big part of it Matt wearing a Soundgarden Total Fucking Godgead short and Kim wearing one emblazoned with Chris. Just an incredible night and such a wonderful birthday gift.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

Honestly one of the best shows I’ve seen them play. So cool to see a full Soundgarden cover.

Normal disclaimers of I wasn't there and I am only reading the setlist on paper and yada yada yada...but that's the kind of main set that I enjoy seeing. Still not a fan of the triple-slow-song opener, but when the main set's attitude seems to be "we have a deep catalogue of really good songs" (think this selection was better than Wednesday) I am quick to get behind it and to get excited for the shows I have coming up.

I can’t say enough good things about night 2, so I’ll try and keep this brief. Leaps and bounds better than night 1.
Approached stadium about 5:45 and walked right in. They must have fixed some ticketing glitches.
Mike’s side right in front of his stage monitor, about 6 bodies deep. Great little spot.
Co-worker texted me from the front of the merch line “want anything?” So I got the Ames poster.
Drank before, not during, great move - didn’t take a piss til Yellow Ledbetter.
Eddie trolled fans who lined up two days early to get on the rail.
Can’t Deny Me was good/fun live. There I said it.

Re: 2018-08-10: Seattle, Washington
Echoing everyone else, last night show was head over heels better than night 1. Ed mentioned that they were really uptight and nervous on night 1. But they brought it tonight. Honestly one of the best and favorite shows I’ve ever been to. The people immediately around us were all 10c fans and every song that started we just kept realizing how fun the set was.
I can’t even pinpoint a highlight. The Cornell cover song was great... I had no idea what it was until I got home. Kim shredded Kick Out The Jams, and Mark Arm was perfect for Search and Destroy and Sonic Reducer.
Ed got weepy when talking about Tom Petty, saying the last time he saw him was at the Safeco show last summer. He asked everyone to hold up a light so that maybe Tom could hear and see us. The whole stadium was lit with phones.
Crown was great to hear. I’ve heard it a few times before at shows, but something about this one made it more fun. Being an outdoor show, in Seattle, the band just channeled the song, with the whole crowd singing along into the night sky. It had become the stadium rock anthem that Andy Wood wanted. A nice tribute in his hometown, outdoors under the sky for the whole city to hear.
I hate to say it, but i thoroughly enjoyed Unthought Known. They’ve really transformed that song live.
My wife was super pumped to hear Jeremy. She’s been to about 10-12 shows with me, and had never heard it. For a song that I’ve heard thousands of times, and probably 30 times live, it was a lot of fun to relive it through someone who was seeing it for the first time.

I’ve said it before, UK live is actually pretty cool. Surprisingly Can’t Deny Me was as wellbodysnatcher wrote:Echoing everyone else, last night show was head over heels better than night 1. The timeline matches... Honestly, I'm surprised the band and crowd didn't get evacuated.CopperTom wrote:While the concert was going on?Bi_3 wrote:Apparently someone stole a fucking airplane from SeaTac and flew it over stadium before crashing into the Sound.
