I'm not sure if Minerva is nu metal but it's the better song here (and maybe the best in the whole tournament) and it gets my vote.

I'm really happy that Minerva has a chance at winning this thing!

I'm opting to get all numb, but I won't be mad if angels deserve to die.

Two deserving finalists. They may not be the funniest, most ridiculous or most emblematic songs in the subgenre, but they are two of the best.
My vote goes to the lush, feedback-laden wall of sound that is "Minerva"

Re: FINAL: CHOP SUEY! VS. MINERVA
I have enjoyed both of these throughout this tournament, but I enjoy "Chop Suey" more. The contrast between the melodic and harmonic richness of the chorus and the spastic "nu"-ness of the verses is dynamically a high watermark for this genre. I love the big impenetrable sound of "Minerva" but the song doesn't get under my skin in any kind of meaningful way (in the end I think I find Chino's voice and approach a little grating, though less so here than in other songs).
Two worthy finalists, but an easy vote for System.

If it was BYOB or Old School Hollywood, I would vote for SOAD - but Minerva is the better song here.

Chop Suey. Maybe if Minerva was instrumental...

Achilles did win, that poll was the victim of stip's poor poll taking skills and the inevitable RM vote surge that happens at T-minus 5 minutes from the poll locking.

BYOB has some cool parts but the "everybody's going to the party" bit kind of kills it
