This Missoula experience feels like the dawn of a new RM, an age of tempered cynicism where everyone has met each other in person and has this zen-like laissez-faire attitude toward the state of modern Pearl Jam where the output and performance seem immaterial because it's "all about the vibes." Soon the mocking memes and GIFs will vanish from the board completely, and by 2021 the March Madness finals will be "Unthought Known" vs. something from one of Eddie's solo albums. And everyone will trace it back to this one picture, which by then will be posted on the homepage with the word "memories" emblazoned around the border in sparkly gold lettering.

it's in my mind. i have a specific memory of watching the moment on stage, and chuckling to myself. didn't think anyone else noticed. it wasn't til after the show that Strat showed me he got a pic of the exact moment.

it might not be that funny to anyone else, but laughing at that pic with Strat and Trag after the show was one of the many highlights of the night
