I thought I read somewhere the first time they played it was at Stone's request.
Pretty sure it was Matt's request, I think Ed talks about it one of the first times they played it back in....2011?

Anyway, Ed should've said no.

"Setting Forth" is okay. But "No Ceiling" -- now that's a song that should get played.

I like this song.

But, yeah it is odd the other members don’t get the occasional tune dropped into a live set. A song like Bayleaf seems like a no brainer choice. I mean, they supposedly even worked on it together during the Yield sessions.

I think "No Ceiling" may be one of Eddie's best melodies, it's much more comfortably within his vocal range for the time (and would be now too), and the instrumentation is a bit more eclectic for Ed's palette -- maybe the only EV-fronted song with a banjo? It's probably my favorite "Into the Wild" song.

I do like "Setting Forth" though.

I feel like I need to re-listen to every song after you talk about it.

this discarded tampon applicator makes 'Pilate' look like Toccata and Fugue in D Minor
