I really like "That's What You Get". The rhythm is weird and interesting, the guitar arrangement is cool, the vocals are good. The other song fucking sucks

I like some Paramore songs, including this one. The other song is exactly what I would expect given the movie it came from.

From what I've heard (which is limited), any inheritance Paramore have to punk is in the dress code and the way that their singer enunciates, which feels like a product of trends. Musically, they're a pop group simple and plain, and better for it. I don't love this song but her voice is great, and the other song is dogshit. Easy vote.

I think this applies to later Paramore more than first-two-albums Paramore. The stuff from Riot (which this song is from) is very much in the power-chord-heavy, high-tempo, "whoa-oh-oh" Warped Tour pop-punk vein.

Nah, it's solid. The rhythm section is tight and they do some interesting things with the guitars and vocals. The song has this weird stuttering pace to it that I really like.

Did you get further than that into the other one?

Female vocals on the "Snakes on a Plane" song are by the lady from The Sounds!

On the PP tournament curve I'd give this Paramore song about a B/B-minus. Even with additional graces I'd probably flunk the other one.
