Personally I’d say it’s got more Star Wars rewatchabilty factor than probably any of the new ones. It has That fun adventure thing the ot has in spades. You can just stick it on and it flies by or you don’t even have to engage too much with it. Can’t wait to get it at home.

Yes I too love how completely empty and unengaging it is

The Dart Maul hologram, the red of his face can be scene as well as the red lightsaber. Is this the first time a hologram has color other than the bluish tint they normally have?

Probably to make audiences know for sure they were seeing Darth Maul and a red lightsaber.

That’s not true really at all. There’s colour in the holograms of people you see in the prequels and in rogue one(and Rebels and clone wars). Sure it’s muted through a blue filter but it’s there. If they saturated the red a bit to make general audience aware of who it was fair enough but I can’t rememebr it being overdone. Or even noticing if it was different?

Oh I don't know. I was just bringing it up because I always assumed holograms were not "in color" so to speak. But you've probably watched a lot more SW stuff than I have to get an idea.

THere are many others that just look blue unless you’re really looking at them so you’re totally fogiven for thinking they’re only blue. The transmissions and quality of them appear in different ‘quality’ due to reception over all the films and series.

I agree. I haven't seen it again, but my feeling was exactly that one. They nailed the 50s pulpy sci fi tone that ANH had.

Still think this is fun, but a rewatch made me sad that so much of our young talent’s best years are being spent mimicking the acting choices of others.

Also I love Alden but nobody can recreate what he’s been asked to recreate.

Here are some 2018 movies that outgrossed this Star Wars movie:

The Meg
Hotel Transylvania 3
