I won't! Getting Aaron Rodgers a moderately qualified head coach is my passion project!
Also, this reminded me that I still need to book stuff to come watch the Dolphins/Packers in November. Hoping for an early season snow game.

Makes you wonder what's changed since March when they could have gotten him without giving up a 3rd round pick.Orpheus wrote:Teddy B to the Saints.
(Not necessarily saying it's a bad move--they have more information than we do so maybe they think Brees is done or something--but it's always interesting when a team trades for a guy they could have signed out right not long before.)

I'm guessing he was on their radar but they wanted to see him in a live game setting, and Brees may have told them this is his last year.
It would be awesome to see him come back from his injury the same way Brees did. I'm a big Teddy fan.

He's been on the Saints radar. Bridgewater went to the Jets cause it at least gave him a chance at starting. He could have taken the Saints money, but it was a guaranteed bench spot unless Brees got hurt.

I stand corrected. The Saints did not look at Bridgewater earlier this year.Stardog Champion wrote:He's been on the Saints radar. When will they expand rosters? Even a 63 man team would make for a better product... it's not like owners can't afford it.

Those goal line cameras and an extra booth official for replay would really eat into the snacks and illicit drug budgets though on their Gulfstreams.
We can have "the green zone" but we can't have goal line technology.....
Hell just add the practice squad to the team.

Re: 2018 NFL Season
that QB of theirs gonna be under a lot of pressure to perform
they could prob make it to the superbowl with any average vet QB
maybe they should have traded for Bridgewater as insurance if Capt. Cutie-Pie can't get it in

This is looking to be an excellent morning for Joey and myself. Now it needs to be finished off with the Raiders drafting JaMarcus Russell type players with whatever haul they get.

Oh man!
I'll tell you, I'm super worried about the Chiefs defense this year. The offense is going to have to score a shit ton of points if they want to be in games.
This though? This helps. Rucking Faiders.

Re: 2018 NFL Season
Interested to see the terms but The Bears defense looks a lot scarier with Mack and Smith and the Raiders are basically mailing in the last year in Oakland.
