the whole last 10 years of feigned mediocrity was just a set up for this moment. and they pulled it off. time to release those 5 albums of primo material they were stockpiling

Looks like it was a solid show but I think night 1 has the better setlist. Would have liked getting Red Mosquito (haven't got it before and love that one) and Not For You (after six shows this is the one big hit I haven't gotten yet). Also Immortality, Thumbing My Way, and Better Man.

But night 1 had Black, Tremor Christ, Present Tense, Release, Elderly Woman, Sometimes, Won't Back Down, Low Light, Army Reserve....I'd say it definitely wins for me.

Especially the first three listed.

That's a good looking set on paper. First encore is a bit uninspired but Go->RVM was probably fun. I like Comatose too, but I'm guessing it was tuned down. If not, that'd be a good three song stretch. Too bad they cut Do the Evolution from the second encore, as it probably would've sounded great coming out of the lesser-known cover.

Looks like lots of stuff to like, though. Here's hoping the energy was there and it sounded good.

Originalish Lyric Immortality was awesome. Truly out of nowhere. Red Mosquito was another highlight. I thought the first set was great with the exeption of Arms Aloft and Can't Deny Me. Better crowd.

Wikipedia wrote:"Dirty Water" is a song by the American rock band The Standells, written by their producer Ed Cobb.[3] The song is a mock paean to the city of Boston, Massachusetts and its then-famously polluted Boston Harbor and Charles River.

Was Can't Deny Me at least good by Can't Deny Me standards? Also, did he introduce "original" Immortality, or just sing it?

Can't Deny Me made the crowd zombies. No one seemed interested. No one.

He just started singing those 1994 lyrics. I was stunned.

Doesn't he just repeat the same line over and over again in that original lyric?

Great crowd, main set was fantastic. Arms Aloft was much improved. Thumbing My Way killed a lot of the energy. We need to go The Purge on those pit fuckers who keep requesting this crap. Dirty Frank tease was mean, but we deserved. Crowd was crazy at the end in my section, people rushing the rail. A really fun show
