nah. Sports very rarely fire me up negatively anymore. Honestly, as long as the ramifications of said blunder aren't too dramatic, i root for them for joke fodder.

September-June is usually pretty intense with hockey, football and soccer all in full swing at that point. After the Stanley Cup Finals end it usually dies down a bit as only soccer internationals and MLS are going on at that point.

I used to watch every Cavs game, most Indians games, certainly every Ohio State football game and most Browns games. Then I got married, didn't have as much time, and honestly just didn't feel the need to watch as much as I used to. I'll catch a little bit of an Indians game every night, a handful of Cavs games throughout the year and most Buckeye games (and a Browns game if I'm bored on a Sunday) but family priorities have taken over and I just don't have the time and it honestly doesn't bother me.

I'll read all kinds of stuff about my teams, but if I miss a game oh well. And if my team loses, I get over it quickly. I don't even care about the LeBron thing anymore. (But still, fuck Art Modell and his rotting corpse).

Not much. There was a time when the ending of the Spurs-Heat series would have left me in the fetal position for days, but as it was I pretty much forgot about it the next day. I'd rather be exercising than watching other dude's exercise.

A wedding is occuring during the first weekend of Pro Football, and I have to go so I'm going to miss the Falcons season opener. I'm considering paying 30 bucks to be able to listen to the game on my phone. Probably the only time I'll need that feature all year. Oh well.

There are like 5 months of the year in the summer time with virtually no sports conflicts that matter, what the fuck is wrong with marrying during the dog days of summer? Oh it's too hot? Well get married inside then. Geez.

Could not agree more. Luckily, the two weddings my wife and/or I are in this fall are on weekends where Mizzou has a bye/away game.

I'm smack bang in the middle of organising our local Junior hoops competition, starting in about 3 weeks. Under 11s, Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 18s. Lots of work but very rewarding watching the kids go around each year.

And this year I'm coaching my daughter's team in her first year of basketball! She already appreciates that basketball is far more important than life itself, so I can't forsee any problems really.
