They’re still going to try and play that Indians/Twins game. Should be interesting.

Seems kind of pointless to let that game go so late into the night, with all the electricity being used. Was in the 16th inning at midnight...

the pigfuckers passed a bill taxing imports and exports from puerto rico, said to cost more than the last 3 hurricanes combined.

when did green become more important than people's lives?

It wasn't "how can we help?" it was, "how can we profit?" ....

Stay safe, east coasters.

When I was in Charleston last winter the tidal street flooding downtown seemed like it was an everyday occurance to businesses there, even on mild days. I can imagine what a storm surge would do and can only assume that’s the same all across the Carolina coast.

Ruddo et al, do you guys have a game plan? You’re all welcome to crash here.

Yikes. Looks like it's going to be a major hurricane no matter where it lands:

We're looking at 4-6" (as my wife calls it: "barely satisfying"). That much inland rainfall will be devastating even if it's no longer at tropical storm strength.

Its a pretty weird feeling being relieved that a hurricane isn't going to hit you while knowing someone else is gonna get walloped.
