Cobra Kai

Post by daft twat »

Did anyone else watch this?

I’m a huge Karate Kid fan - top 20 movie for me.

I just watched this series over the last week, finishing tonight, and...I can’t believe how good it is. Predictable? Yes. Dependent on nostalgia? Obviously. But it is super fun, and it’s better than most sequels. I don’t know if they can continue the quality for another season, but I will watch to find out. Man, William Zabka just crushes it!

Half way through....a little clunky at first as the two leads (especially Johnny) remember how to act but after that it rounds into shape. Fun show.

what, that sounds awesome. go with her and binge shows on the flight.
She's going on a yoga retreat that i dont care to afford. Small chance I might meet her in scotland. Depends on when my boss has surgery.

Season 2 is available. I’ve watched the first two eps this morning. It will be hard for me not to finish all 10 in a few days.

Johnny is such a great character. I love how he’s trying to adapt to the times, but the times are evolving too fast for him.
Example:
Johnny on the phone: Classes at 4 and 5, but they’re filling up fast...nope, we train boys and girls now...gender what?...are you messing with me, pal?

I’d read there were some cameos in episode 6. Holy shit, though, non-famous actors apparently age at twice the rate of leads.
