Bummer. I liked his performance as Superman. And he was getting better...loved him in MI6.

I’m looking forward to 7 years from now when they say “gee whiz, we always hoped to make another Affleck Batman movie, but of course we aren’t going to make a movie unless we have a script that does the character justice...especially with a talent like Ben. The right script never materialized. We definitely weren’t hurriedly phasing him out as early as 2018.”

A long time ago I would have been so stoked for that...these days I don't even care about all that Netflix content. Im also really tired of the Coens, I'm not sure why because I haven't even seen their last two or three movies.

I loved Inside Llewyn Davis. Enjoyed True Grit. Didn't see Hail Caesar.

I liked Hail Caesar way better than Llewyn Davis, which was miserable

Davis and Caesar were both collections of absolutely great scenes in unfocused narrative packages. The sums were inexplicably less than their parts, but many of the parts were so, so good.
