I've been rewatching Cowboy Bebop. Such a cool tv show.
any fans? Thinking about getting more into it. Most of it is crap, but I really like a lot of the classics:
Akira
Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell
Ninja Scroll
Redline (not a classic, but I love it)
and most of all: FLCL
Spoiler: show VIDEO

I used to be into Dragon Ball and Ranma 1/2 as a kid.
Ranma 1/2 was actually a really kinky and fucked up anime, now that I think of it

I went through a Pokemon and Dragon Ball phase, but most anime pisses me off now.

I was into it in the 90's. We called it Japanimation back then which maybe was offensive? I started to lose interest when I realized that as good as the art was the stories were almost always horrible.

I've been watching the new Dragon Ball Z Super episodes. I haven't seen all of them, but it's cool to have new DBZ episodes again.
Cowboy Bebop is definitely the best anime show I've ever seen though.

I never understood the appeal, even as a kid. I find the animation style extremely off-putting. I like some Miyazaki and that’s it.

I'm a Cowboy Bebop fan but not necessarily an anime fan. Something about that show just transcends format.

I was really into Princess Mononoke when it came out.

That's basically me, plus a few others. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised.
I like that type of anime art style, but stuff like Pokemon and Dragon ball never appealed to me.

My cousin was really into them, so when I was a kid we watched a lot of the ultra violent ones like Fist Of The Northstar. Crazy movies.
It kind of put me off of them for awhile. But now I want to watch them again.

Some good suggestions in here. I also enjoyed Full Metal Alchemist and Hellsing Ultimate
