If a fake tracklist can add nearly 30 pages to this thread in less than 2 days then I fear what may happen when we actually get some real news!

This isn't going to leak for a long time.

Although the track list might be fake, it does seem true that SBM is on the record.

So, in reality, all that track list did was open up or further discussion about PJ deciding to include an Ed solo track on the new record.

Backspacer didn't leak until roughly 2 weeks before the official release date. If we use that as an indicator as to when we get the Lighning Bolt leak, this might be one of the only things he's right about.

Where/how have we 'confirmed' this?

The unleaking of Backspacer until a week before its release was, sadly, impressive.

I recall Riot Act leaking at the end of September for a November release, I had too much life going on to recall when S/T leaked.

Backspacer was the first Pearl Jam album I heard significantly before the release date. I got a ST leak from someone who worked in a record store the night before it was released. Riot Act and Binaural I heard when I bought the CD.

Yeah Backspacer released more than just a week before release date, right? I thought I had it for about a month before I went to the Seattle shows, which was on the release date.

By significant I meant more than just the night before because someone opened the box early at the record store.

Since I'm in a sharing mood, here's how I heard each of PJ's records before they came out:

No Code: Radio station I ended up working at played all the songs periodically through August 96
Yield: Listened to a sample of "Pilate" via an audio stream on Wall of Sound in summer of '97; pre-ordered Yield CD at a local record shop and was given a bag of goodies - which included the Yield vinyl a full 10 days before release.
Binaural: I was given the CD at work, then finished my midnight-6a DJ shift, went home, listened to it at about 6:30 am the Friday before the release on the floor of my old apartment.
Riot Act: MP3 download somewhere two months prior to release
Lost Dogs: Radio station was given a sampler CD (which I shared here at RM way back then), some random MP3 download an undertermined time before the release
S/T: MP3 download somewhere at some point
Backspacer: MP3 download a week or so before its release

Backspacer leaked over the weekend of 9/11 and was released on 9/29. I was in Pittsburgh on Thursday the 10th for the Steelers opening day. When I got home that Saturday, the board was talking about the leak. I remember being pissed that it didn't leak a few days sooner so that I would've had it for my trip.
