What's with Chelsea's manager wearing 4xl t shirts on the sideline? What a slob.

I can't read the text. Is it bitching about German American dual Nationals on USMNT? I read this guy played soccer in college.

Meanwhile US Soccer after over a year without a coach is about to hire Greg? fucking Berhalter, who just happens to have an older brother on the board. We should be the ones rioting.

Cheers and congrats to Atlanta United for winning the MLS championship. They've done an amazing job creating a fan base and I am genuinely happy for those that follow the team.
But it's not enough to lift the Atlanta curse, or at least not without an asterisk.

Soccer is fine and definitely a growing sport in the US but I still think of it as a major sport here.

Anyone watching the Copa Libertadores final? This is crazy. That indirect free kick still baffles me.

Caught the 2nd half & ET. River looked clearly the better side. The whole thing was super tense. Insane that Boca was literally within an inch or two from an equalizer at the death. That post hit has to hurt soooo bad.LetMeSleep wrote:Anyone watching the Copa Libertadores final? This is crazy. That indirect free kick still baffles me.

Boca pretty much had total control of the first half. The game changed when Benedetto went off.swan wrote:Caught the 2nd half & ET. River looked clearly the better side. Re: The Beautiful Game (The All Inclusive Soccer Thread)
As huge River fan this was a dream.
First half Boca was better, even if all they did was tried to block their game. They did a good job and their goal was great. Second half was all River. Quintero did a great job making all kinds of plays, the defense was better, Martinez and Fernandez were better. They won the match in a great way and it could have been a wider result.
