If you tell someone to look at teeth, because you're a toothpaste/floss company, what do you expect them to notice?
And what's the overall point of the ad anyway? Have good teeth, because if you don't, people won't necessarily notice when your arm is falling off or you've suddenly grown a sixth finger?

Why does that slogan have an 'A' in 'AN' and 'ARE'?

It's meant to be leaving out vowels, so it says. 'A' is a vowel. So is 'I' and 'U' come to think of it. I really don't get it.

on wheel of fortune where this shirt gets its phrase from, you can buy a vowel at any given time as long as you selected a consonant correctly. the vowels A, U, I and O have already been selected. so the "A" is ok in there. i would say the problem is with the "O" and we can leave it at B once again posting incorrectly

Shit, I missed the 'O'. SO MANY VOWELS.
Of course, if you missed them all out, you couldn't read the phrase.

Would fixing the t-shirt really have made it anything other than the "this post is so bad we should just scrap the thread and start over" moment that it currently is?
We have all contributed to this thread becoming awful very quickly, but I will admit I had a significant part to play.

I think the joke is most definitely on the T-shirt designer.
