Yep. That was the one I was thinking, too. Woof... now I don't know what I'm gonna do in that category.

Because comedians are the only possible selection.

i totally agree.

i love this pick.
Farmer John wrote:Louis C.K.
this was expected (from the field, not you specifically), but i don't understand the praise he receives. he's admitted to stealing everything he is from George Carlin. that should say everything there is to say about him.

if you wanted to read the prequel to this book, read Jack London's Iron Heel

see my above comment. you'll be just fine w/o him.

in other news, i hope there isn't a run on video games, b/c i was stuck on picking the book i did or the game i want (for my team). i hope it works out.

I'm not big into video games, but there are two I'm mulling over. I might have to flip a coin.

to clarify, is it console games only or could pc games or arcade games be picked?

PC & arcade are fine. I even considered board games at first, but no.

Louis CK is pretty different from Carlin, as far as material goes. They're both geniuses in their own right.

well i'm not trying to say that LCK uses GC's actual material, but LCK very freely borrows what GC set as a standard for comedians.

Ellis, your criticism makes no sense. Carlin was a great comedian and Louis CK tries to live up to his standard, so Louis CK sucks?
