Ok, if he's in it he shouldn't have any interaction with Obi-Wan.

Agreed. But him being obsessed with finding Obi wan and that’s the start of your movie him sending someone off to find him or the shock reveal at the end you see who the bad guy reports to and it’s Vader himself, that could be cool.
This could also tie into Obi wan killing Maul in Rebels. The emperor and by default Vader are looking for him to kill him too. If Maul drops off the map suddenly. Last known position, Tatooine, that could play a part in the film.

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (5/25/2018)
Have you seen on starwarsnews.net that they are selling shirts for "Make Solo 2 Happen" ?
On one hand, it's kinda neat to see people that love the franchise try to influence LFL and Disney to make content fans want, and in the age of the internet and social media, it makes it all the more easy to get that point seen by companies. Especially since media loves to cover stuff like this. Remember the cutesy wootsy little girl that bought 300+ dollars worth of Amazon toys without her mom's knowledge? Oh how adorable! And then they donated the extra toys? What saints!
On the other hand, does too much fan influence hurt the movie making (art) process? If artists are somewhat influenced by social media movements to include/exclude certain characters/plot devices/storylines, does that hurt the artists original vision of the material? Do fans even know what's best for a franchise?
I don't know how much TFA, TLJ, Solo, RO were influenced (if any) by current social media trends, or they could have been influenced by the prequel misses.

I don’t see the option for “All Disney execs should commit seppuku and dissolve the company”

You’d watch that movie no doubt. Unless JJ directed it.

One thing that really made me laugh in this movie (the only thing, but it was a good one) is when they are in the middle of the Kessel run and they all see that big creature the same time and simultaneously yell "AHH!"
