People over here seem to be raving about how well she did on the show. I have to say I was expecting her to be cringe-worthy, but she did alright

Really fantastic that Colbert just gives him time to talk but damn, I highly suggest watching to the end.

Finale was a bit more over the top than I expected, but fun.

i loved The Colbert Report. got tickets to attend in person at the studio twice. was such an incredible era. and i was happy for stephen when he got the CBS show, but i never really watched it. only one-off clips. i preferred the more subversive original Colbert Report. obv makes sense that for a mainstream network broadcast you'd have to ice cream things up a bit. i get the sense though that in the home stretch the mainstream CBS show got a lot more sarcastic/aggressive (understandably). hopefully the next project is more like the original. heavens knows with this president and his greed family there is plenty to make light of

Only in Monroe was hilarious. The call to Byron Allen was fucking great. The segment with the regular hosts was great too. The Buscemi PSA, hysterical. The description of the Monroe flag prob got the biggest laugh. A lot of fun.
