SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — President Trump mocked the account of a woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh of assault and told a Mississippi crowd that the #MeToo movement was unfairly hurting men.

Flake and Collins are not amused. Probably not the smartest move, but he can't resist his adoring crowds of dumbfuck Mississippians derping with approval.

Turns out, Julie Swetnick slept with a married guy once, and never told HIM that she witnessed sexual assault. Obviously, she's a liar.

Looks like Flake and Collins will vote to confirm after what they call a "thorough" investigation. :?

I thought it was gauche to call a congressperson if you're not a constituent.

weird.

Anyway, I always identify myself as living in MT. If they're doing their job, they're not too concerned with me and are listening to their constituents. But hopefully the added pressure will make them reconsider their own constituents' views a bit more.

I've been looking at those three Senators' voting records, and they are all of the Mitt Romney/Jon Tester variety: They tow the party line at the federal level most of the time, but have all sponsored or supported bills that look like clear wins for their home states.
TBF I've called congressional leadership before--speaker of the house, senate majority leader--because I feel like in their roles as leaders, they have broader responsibilities than representing their constituents. Not saying it's right or wrong, just what I've gathered from other people's feelings.
