All of this is so far beyond me that I can't even explain it. I live in a small 740 sq/ft apartment. So hearing the system throughout isn't an issue. My vinyl setup is fine. It's my TV that I hate. And LV is right, it's because I don't have anything. Just the TV speakers, which I know sucks. But I just haven't had the chance to go out and figure out what will work with my old ass TV. I need to fix that, though.
My turntable is in the upstairs (mezzanine level) lounge, so if you leave the room and go up or downstairs it gets all muffled. I'n the past I just got past this by turning the volume right up, but that was a n issue if my daughters were sleeping
:nice:

Full house surround sound, accessible in every room is the dream!

Do any of you guys use those LED strips to backlight your TV?

My buddy swears by it. He says it brings out the blacks and his eyes get less strained.

I only use it for SDR content. It does indeed do exactly those things. For HDR I find that it blunts highlights too much.

I have mine on right now (though you won’t get the full effect because I have a light on)

Does yours have an on/off switch or do you have to plug it in and out of a USB port?

On/off. It plugs into an outlet. Changes color too!

Got my LED strip.

It's really cool, but the USB port on my TV is always active, so I have to turn the LEDs on and off.

I'd rather they just turn on when I turn the TV on.

Good luck!

There's like 400 choices on Amazon. I got tired of looking at them all and just picked one that got ~4.5 stars and cost about $20.
