Use this thread to share the playlists you've made or followed.
I will be posting Spotify links, but feel free to use any other method of playlist creation, including just jotting down the artist and track names like some kind of prehistoric brute.

Re: Share your playlists
I make a lot of playlists. I'm just gonna put a whole bunch of them in this post, but you can click through to my Spotify profile for a bunch more.
'You Go to My Head', my playlist of old-timey love songs: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... 1IsAwk18dw
'Chill Chill Chill', a late-night wind-down playlist: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... AoKcsZZjAQ
'A Slinky Nighttime Thing', essentially a makeout playlist of smooth r&b jams: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... zvXZajo7-g
'Nu-Metal Songs That Were Either Good or OK', the title speaks for itself: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... fwGCtynl6A
'All My Friends', 47 songs with the title "all my friends", lots of different genres: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... TtyA_sRnGQ
'EMPOWERING BREAKUP ANTHEMS', pretty self-explanatory. Took some suggestions from the Concept Album thread for this one: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... NF62vg_LAA
'The Smashing Pumpkins Were Better Than Nirvana', 28 SP favorites: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... 2FV4-xFVDg
'Poppy Cure, No Downers', 27 poppy songs by The Cure: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... oYppQIECzg
'Calm the Heck Down, Jorge', just a lot of soothing classical piano stuff: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... g2mCemBAMw
'Uhhh TEMAZO', a general all-purpose background-music playlist for social gatherings, lots of genres but leans poppy: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... 5mm9Msekew
'Bum, Bum-Bum TISHHH', songs that start with the "Be My Baby" drum intro. Took some RM suggestions for this one: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... 6AFO-MAZ0w
'I'm From the Barrio', try and guess what this one is about: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... bUvKFEOn6A
'The Good 90s', just 90s rock music that I like, with a preference for the pretty, shoegazey stuff: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... cPhH_-q2WA
and my running list of favorite 2018 songs: https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... 92fp8peEYg

I’ve listened to this a little bit recently, I particularly enjoyed the Kamasi Washington, Linda Oh, Florian Weber and Nicole Mitchell tracks.theplatypus wrote:Recent jazz (already shared this one in Now Playing, but it is super good so here it is again): https://open.spotify.com/user/126970050 ... 90NSaA0QQg
I was already familiar with the Andrew Cyrille and Nels Cline tracks but dug those too.

Linda Oh is also on the Florian Weber track!Birds in Hell wrote:Linda Oh, Florian Weber
She's Australian and a really good bassist and composer. Her album Walk Against Wind is great

Re: Share your playlists
side question about playlists. how do you organize saved albums in Spotify? i'm assuming most people just "heart" the album, and it saves in the Albums section in Spotify. i don't like doing this bc it becomes quite disorderly, and I like to have my albums separated into genres. so i end up saving each album as a playlist, and making folders.
i ask bc my friend was going through my spotify app and roasted me for it. seemed like a pretty reasonable solution to me, although annoying to create and organize everything. is there an Album sorting feature i don't know about?
