3 scrambled eggs (mix 2 tbsp cottage cheese + splash of almond milk while beating the eggs)
4oz ground chicken thighs
20 oz smoothie (almond milk, pomegranate juice (100% fruit, not from concentrate), ground flax, almond butter, spinach, beets, avocado, banana, blueberries)
Almond butter and avocado and ground flax are fantastic additions to a smoothie.
my smoothies are now 60% veg, 40% fruit (depending on how one classifies an avocado, i suppose) and they're so dang good

i chose the qualifier "basically" intentionally, as distinct from "exactly." you'd have a better case if i'd used the latter instead of the former. as it is, i substitute lean meat for beans, and hit every other bullet on the chart. The Argonaut wrote:Not if you are eating lean meats for dinner every day! Re: Who is RM's Healthiest Eater?
last night was a classic strat with baked chicken. Busted out the rice cooker/steamer mix and steamed up some carrots and broccoli.
Dash of olive oil, black pepper, a little bit of ginger.
This morning i've had a bagel and a latte. Oh well. Banana soon.

mehThe Argonaut wrote:that makes no sense, though. The entire point of that chart is to not eat meat. I'm not saying that you're not healthy, I'm just saying that if you are eating meat every day, you are not even "basically" following the chart, because the chart is a "basic" guide to how to not eat meat--- wrote:i chose the qualifier "basically" intentionally, as distinct from "exactly." you'd have a better case if i'd used the latter instead of the former. as it is, i substitute lean meat for beans, and hit every other bullet on the chart. The Argonaut wrote:Not if you are eating lean meats for dinner every day!
